Has anyone on immune suppressants had any advice from doctors about this at all ?

I am on Azathioprine, and in the UK they are preparing a vaccine for all residents in August. However, I believe that they won't allow anyone on immune suppressants to take it for obvious reasons, in that injecting the virus, could be harmful if you have no immune system.

I was just wondering if anyone knew anything more on this - or received advice on what we should be doing, i.e., working from home etc.

Cheers,

Just to update this I saw the consultant yesterday and he confirmed quite a few things. Firstly, users of Immune Suppresants have been prioritised and so any flu like symptoms must be treated straightaway. Secondly and - most importantly, we will receive the vaccine - again as a priority group.

Cheers
