Is there a way that registered users can:
1. See where another registered user is in the system.e.g If I were sat in the chatroom can people see that I am online and have an opportunity to chat there and then.

2. Send some form of an instant message to make contact with someone.

3. Is there a regular chat session running e.g. every week on Saturdays or every other week or what ever... Could there be a possibilty of posting this in soem form of a diary or calendar so that we can make it easier for each other to get to make contact.

This sounds like a load fo work, and probably the answers are here already - but I think I have my thick hat on tonight!!

Hello there Martin if u or eileen would like to run a chatroom one sat evening or other evening just say i will post and let all registered users know that there will be a chat.
I have said this to the lovely eileen already lol
Problem is u can run it every 2 weeks and some turn up then some nites u sit awaitin someone to come and no one appears. Best to run 1 time a month on a regular basis sweetie.
What u can do is logon chat and use sounds tha tell u if someone has entered chat.
This is a diffrent component to all othere elements of the website so that is the only way to tell if someone has entered.

And if someone has emailed the site the reply does go straight to the registered users sweety .
If they have clicked when they joined or posted notify me of reply.
